Grants
Many applicants are in situations where their income from all sources, including State Benefits, does not cover their essential living costs or their expenditure has temporarily risen. Trustees would normally award a grant in these circumstances, which would be disbursed monthly to meet outgoings.
In cases where there is a shortfall relating to specific monthly outgoings to third parties such as utility companies, Trustees may agree to reserve a sum to make direct payments.
In urgent situations, the Chairman may authorise payments prior to Trustees making an award.
